Open Doors of Downtown Milford
A juried art exhibit, designed to recognize the creativity of Connecticut artists sponsored by the Downtown Milford Business Association. 25 selected artists were invited to create artworks on recycled doors, in all media and limited only by the artist's imagination using a door. Completed works will be displayed at the sponsoring businesses throughout downtown Milford, CT through September 19th. At the close of the exhibition the "doors" will be auctioned off and a percentage of the sales will be donated to a local charity. This year's local charity is the Milford Fine Arts Council.
*Opening Reception: Friday, August 20th, 5:00 - 9:00 pm as part of Oyster Eve, Downtown Milford
*Art Exhibit and Guided Walking Tours at Sponsoring Business: August 20 to September 12. Guided tours are on Saturdays, August, 28, September 4 and 11 starting 1:00 pm

Theme : The experience of a transitory state is prominent on both personal and global levels in these unstable times. Transitions, the virtual event, will consist of works that deal with any transition expressed through content or form. Somewhat Off the Wall, a unique exhibition and party from which guests will take home original works of art; as a fundraiser for The Arts Council of Greater New Haven. This year's event features drawings, jewelry, paintings, photography, pottery, prints, sculpture, and fiber by 53 outstanding artists who have each donated three pieces of their work, and Corina is one of them.
